As a seamstress and hobby DIY'er, it's super important to always have a tape measure handy - these are cute and functional. I keep one in my purse and the other in my travel bag because you never know! They extend and retract fairly well, but sometimes they get a little sticky for that final inch of tape. Great purchase!
